PT KBN Siap Jalankan Rekomendasi Komisi B DPRD DKI

PT KBN - Commission B Gears Up to Operate Marunda Port

PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) is ready to run input and suggestions submitted by members of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B during a working visit to the KBN Area, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Tuesday (7/21).

They (commission B) support the operation of Marunda Port

PT KBN Development Director Junaedi, positively welcomed it, among others, supporting the operation of the Marunda Port, which is predicted to reduce the burden of loading and unloading activities at the Tanjung Priok Port.

"They (commission B) support the operation of Marunda Port, as it will spearhead all cargo from the sea. Moreover the Tanjung Priok Port is overload already," he expressed, Wednesday (7/22).

PT KBN Has Distributed Thousands of Basic Needs Packages

Commission B Member Hasan Basri Umar added if the KBN had the port, revenue would be greater and impact on regional original income in Jakarta. Unfortunately, until now, there were several things that made the Marunda Port development plan not yet obtain the Ministry of Transportation's permission. One of them was land misuse by several parties who rent land in KBN.

"KBN wants to develop the port, but no permission, whereas all the material is ready, including the port. That's why we'll explore the issue, moreover many tenants break the initial agreement," he exclaimed.

Another member Farazandi Fidinansyah also supported them to check and control the land tenants for getting permission.

"We support it as the city administration has a 26.85 percent stake in PT KBN. Because I want revenue optimization to impact the city," he asserted.
